Dr Jess Lee facilitates, guides and manages research projects across the four parks of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. She is also the secretary tasked with managing our local charity – the Wildlife Reserves Singapore Conservation Fund (WRSCF), and promoting the fund in the form of local conservation projects.
Dr Lee has a passion for birds and is a conservation ornithologist by training. Where conservation is concerned, her interest revolves specifically around the understanding the bio-ecology and environmental management of threatened species. Dr Lee was heartened to see the success of the Cikananga conservation project in Indonesia, especially the Cikananga Conservation Breeding Centre, the new breeding facility that was co-funded by WRS to hold and breed some of the rarest songbirds on the planet.
