Who Has 6 Legs?

Children play games to uncover animals with no legs, two, four, and six legs. They then sort them out according to the number of legs they have. They will also meet a live stick insect to investigate its legs and how it protects itself.

Rainforest Kidzworld

Come up close with rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs and goats. Learn how to use gentle hands with a rabbit. Children will also figure out, on their own, the best way to pick leaves to feed a goat.

Getting Ready For My Zoo Trip

This outreach programme introduces children to the fascinating world of animals. The fun, interactive and age-appropriate activities encourage experiential learning and prepare them for an outdoor learning journey at the Zoo. They get to meet our mystery animal ambassador and practise gentle hands to interact with it.

This programme is conducted in your school.

Monsterbusters

Through storytelling, students will learn how the deadliest monster – plastic waste – finds its way to the environment and harm local wildlife, like the otters.

Programme objectives:

  • Students take on the role of  ‘Monsterbusters’ and learn through the authentic experience of cleaning up the environment to save these animals. 
  • Schools are encouraged to continue fighting the plastic monster in their shared community spaces after their Zoo trip.

Fallabella & Friends

Through this hands-on session, children learn about pet responsibility and how to be gentle with animals. They also enjoy the opportunity to get up close to a fallabella, the world’s smallest breed of horse, feed the goats and learn to care for rabbits.

F.A.Q

10:1 ratio is only applicable for local preschools and child care centres. This ratio for Every group of 10 paying students, 1 adult is entitled to join either our guided tour or lesson for free. This ratio will only apply when schools meet the minimum number of people required. 
Programme pricing is excluding admission rates to Singapore Zoo. 
The programme can still go on. However, the school must still pay for the minimum number of people required even if the actual number falls short.

Outdoor learning sessions are weather permitting. In the event of wet weather, the Education department reserves the right to replace the affected outdoor programme with an indoor programme at the staff’s discretion
The voucher is redeemable for Singapore Zoo admission charges or in-park educational programme fees for school groups. It is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
